Industrial floors and floorings

Press-locked gratings are the most frequently-used gratings in the construction business and by architects, owing to their versatility, ease of assembly, visual appeal and robustness. Manufactured from S235JR steel but also available in 304 or 316 stainless or aluminium, press-locked gratings are obtained by fitting insert bars into bearer bars.

Benefits

The benefits of press-locked gratings for industrials floors and floorings :

  • Available in standard mesh (e.g. 30x30) and security mesh versions (19x19 30x19, retains bearings of 20 mm).

  • Can be manufactured with single or double notching for use in slippery inside or outside conditions (oil, fat, snow, rain, black ice, etc.).

  • Quick assembly with standard or custom retaining fasteners.

Note : When transporting heavy loads, trucks or cars, the dimensions of the bearer bars and insert bars are important, as they will dictate the solidity of the structures made from the gratings.

Custom manufacture :

JK Technic can manufacture made-to-measure press-locked gratings to meet your requirements (layout, size, etc.).

Our research department is available to handle your technical requirements and your intended layouts, and can advise you on issues up to and including the realisation of your orders.

Assembly

JK Technic press-locked grating is characterized by transverse, cross bars inserted under high pressure into pre-existing notches in the bearing bars. This grating is produced in “flat” or “T”-shaped sections, welded into place and then optionally undergoes hot-dip galvanizing in accordance with the applicable EN ISO 1461 standards. For situations with an increased risk of slipping, anti-slip grating can be produced, where the upper surface of the bearing bars and/or the transverse bars can be given anti-slip serrations. JK Technic press-locked grating is typically manufactured from EN 10025 standard S235JR steel, which ensures a consistent production quality. RAL-GZ 638 manufacturing tolerances applied.
